Visit a family-run winery in a stunning setting. The Miradorio Experience is the perfect opportunity to escape the daily grind, discovering Cantabrian gastronomy while enjoying a winery in a privileged environment.

It includes a visit to the vineyards and winery at Bodegas Miradorio, a tasting of our own wines, a traditional tasting menu featuring Cantabrian cuisine, and accommodation at Apartamentos Miradorio Rural.

Our apartments are located in Ruiloba, a small town in Cantabria that combines verdant mountains and spectacular cliffs, offering a natural and welcoming environment that will captivate everyone.

Just a five-minute drive away is our small, family-run winery, which began with a bottle of txakoli and holds a story as special as our wines themselves.

From there, we depart by 4×4 to one of our estates, Herbazoso, with its exceptional views: the mountains rising from the sea, with our vineyards bearing witness to this breathtaking landscape. With over 25,000 m2 of vineyards, this estate is home to three of the four key grape varieties in our wines: Riesling, Godello, and Hondarrabi Zuri.

Two white wines made in Ruiloba (Tussío and Mar de Fondo); a red wine under the Rioja Designation of Origin (Oureas); and a new barrel-aged wine will introduce you, through their aromas and flavors, to our family’s northern roots.

The perfect ending to this northern getaway will be the traditional tasting menu, where you’ll discover some of the most representative products of the rich gastronomy of our region: cheeses, Iberian cured meats, anchovies, and a hearty mountain stew; all, of course, paired with our wines and accompanied by a traditional cheesecake dessert and coffee.

Surrounded by some of the most beautiful towns in Spain such as Comillas and Santillana del Mar, Ruiloba offers a privileged location to end this experience by getting to know some of the most special corners of Cantabria.
