Cantabria Brinda took part in Tardíu 2025, the traditional products festival of Cantabria held on October 24th and 25th at Plaza Alfonso XIII in Santander. The association was present with a dedicated stand where visitors were able to discover and enjoy the richness and diversity of the region’s craft beverages, highlighting the work of local producers.
During this first edition of the festival, attendees had the opportunity to taste products made by eleven of the association’s members: Pago Casa del Blanco, Destilería Siderit, Redneck Brewery, La Flor de Limón, Sidra Somarroza, Viña Carmina, Orulisa Picos de Europa, Bodegas Miradorio, Cervezas Smach, Dougall’s, and Rocket Beer. The selection included craft beers, red and white wines, limoncello, and kombucha in different varieties — each offering unique nuances that reflect the aromas, climates, and traditions of different areas of Cantabria.
Each beverage told a story of its territory: from inland mountains and valleys to the coastline, capturing the essence of diverse microclimates and local production techniques. Visitors were able to create their own pairings, combining cheeses, wines, and ciders, and discovering how each product expresses the authenticity and creativity of Cantabrian producers.
Cantabria Brinda’s participation in Tardíu 2025 reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the craft beverage sector, bringing high-quality products closer to the public and encouraging a culture of responsible, local consumption. Through initiatives like this, the association strengthens the bond between producers and consumers while showcasing the rich gastronomic heritage of Cantabria.
The atmosphere of the festival was lively and full of sensory experiences. Live music by local artists filled the square, while showcooking demonstrations offered interactive moments that delighted visitors of all ages. Many attendees expressed their enthusiasm for discovering new flavors and textures, and the close contact with producers allowed them to learn firsthand about the passion and dedication behind each beverage.
Tradition and Innovation
Through this experience, Cantabria Brinda demonstrates that the diversity of the region’s beverages is not only a reflection of tradition, but also of innovation and the ongoing efforts of those who work to bring the flavors of Cantabria to a wider audience.
The association looks forward to continuing to strengthen collaboration between producers and the public, promoting local culture and helping more people discover and enjoy the authentic flavors of the region.
